High Difficulty Trip
Because of the risks in downhill skiing, this trip has been given a high difficulty level. However, beginners are encouraged to attend.

Welcome to the Second Annual Chiltern Ski Day at Wachusset! We'll take to the slopes and take advantage of the wide varieties of terrain offered by this ski resort.

This trip has a high difficulty rating, but beginning skiers are encouraged to attend. The novice slopes at Wachusett are easy to navigate, and are ideal for learning how to go downhill skiing. All beginnging skiers on this trip are strongly encouraged to purchase a lesson at the ski school, especially if this will be your first time on skis. Check the Wachusett web site (, and go to the Learning Center page for lesson information. If you are joining us and have never done any downhill skiing, please let me know.

Here is some basic pricing information, but please also look at their site: There are some internet discounts, especially packages that combine lessons, lift tickets and equipment rentals:

Saturday adult ski lift tickets are $71 (without discount).
Ski rentals are $40 and helmets are $12

These prices are the quoted day pass prices and are valid from their opening time to 4:00 PM.

Beginner skiers please be aware that there are different price levels for the novice slopes and slopes for other skill levels. If you feel confident enough to try the other slopes, you may add the extra charge at the ticket booth.

See you on the slopes!
