Wachusett Mountain ski trip on Saturday, February 3
Directions can be found on the Wachusett site's directions page:
9:00 AM
Wachusett Ski Lodge
The ticket purchasing area inside the lodge
Difficulty Level:
Because of the risks in downhill skiing, this trip has been given a high difficulty level. However, beginners are encouraged to attend.
This trip has been given a high difficulty rating, but beginning skiers are encouraged to attend. The novice slopes at Wachusett are easy to navigate, and are ideal for learning how to go downhill skiing. All beginnging skiers on this trip are encouraged to purchase a lesson at the ski school, especially if this will be your first time on skis.

After tickets are purchased, I can accompany people to the ski rental shop, and then meet up with any group members who are not participating in lessons. We will have two breaks from the cold. At the first break, we can rejoin with any beginners after they have completed their lesson. After the break, we may all ski with any beginners on the easier slopes, but in order to meet the needs of different skill levels, intermediate and expert skiers may go ahead and take on the more difficult slopes. And, if there are any beginners, I will stay with them for the remainder of our skiing day.

Here is some basic pricing information, but please also look at their site: There are some internet discounts, especially packages that combine lessons, lift tickets and equipment rentals

Saturday adult ski lift tickets are $71 (without discount).
Ski rentals are $40 and helmets are $12

Beginner skiers please be aware that there are different price levels for the novice slopes and slopes for other skill levels. If you feel confident enough to try the other slopes, you may have to pay extra at the ticket booth.
