We are going to Campton Campground in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, We have reserved five sites. Each site can have up to 8 people on it and two cars. Two continental breakfasts will be included. There will be a pot-luck dinner on Saturday night.

The cost for the weekend is $45.00 per person.


  Paddling the Pemigewasset River

Join Nancy and Liz for an afternoon of kayaking/canoeing down the Pemigewasset River.  The trip is a leisurely 3-4 hours of paddling down the river with plenty of places to stop for lunch and to take a swim.

  North Kinsman Hike

Join us for a hike up North Kinsman Mountain in Franconia Notch. This is one of the easier 4000 footer in the Whites. The hike will be a moderate-strenuous 8.4 mile mountain hike. We will hike up to Lonesome Lake where there is an AMC hut and then on to Kinsman Pond and the summit of North Kinsman where there are amazing views across the notch of the mountains along the Franconia Ridge.

Join us for a late afternoon bike ride along the Cape Cod Canal. This is a great time of day to enjoy the summer breezes coming off of Buzzards Bay. We will explore the many wonders along the Canal including visiting Scusset Beach and the breakwater at the eastern entrance to the Canal. We will bike 14 miles at an easy pace. Bike rentals are available.

  Acadia Camping! Lamoine State Park

Join us for a long weekend of camping at Lamoine State Park in Lamoine, Maine. The campground is secluded wonderful place across Frenchman Bay from Acadia National Park. We have reserved a large group area with plenty of room for everyone. The campground has great facilities. The Acadia affords great opportunities for hiking, biking the National Park bike trails, and kayaking both Frenchman Bay and local lakes. Rentals are available for biking and kayaking.

  White Mountain Camping, Columbus Day Weekend

Come Join us for a weekend of camping in the White Mountains on Columbus Day weekend. We have two sites available at the Covered Bridge Campground on the Kangamangas Highway in Albany, NH. Fall colors should be at their peak this weekend and there are plenty of opportunities for hikes of all difficulty levels. Plans are to go to the  Fryeburg Fair on Saturday and to hike on Sunday but feel free to come camp and do what ever pleases you. 

  Nashua River Rail Trail bike ride

Please join us on an easy-to-moderate 22 mile bike ride on the Nashua River Rail Trail from Ayer, MA to Nashua, NH. This lovely trail travels on a level grade through the beautiful woods along the Nashua River. On the return, if desired, we will stop for lunch at either Charlotte's Cozy Kitchen or Breen’s Diner in Pepperell,

  Guided tour of Mount Auburn Cemetery/Lunch

A knowledgable Mount Auburn staffer will guide us on a ninety-minute walk through this unique and iconic cemetery, landscaped 150 years ago by Frederick Law Olmsted.  The guide will highlight both the graves of the many historic people who are buried there and also the many beautiful trees and other plantings.  Afterward, we'll have lunch at the nearby Sofra restaurant.  A voluntary modest contribution will help to defray the fee for the guide.
